根拠になっているのはMicrosoftの募集広告で、下記のようにクラウドに精通する人材を募集していることからこのOSはクラウドと深く連携しているのではと予想されているようです。

すくなくともそこに搭載されるOSの開発は進んでいるようです。折りたたみ端末もそうですが、個人的にはAndroidも動くWindowsPhoneのようなものが復活してくれるのを期待しています。Officeがはびこっている日本ではそのほうが仕事がしやすそうです。
